Château Latour - Premier Cru Château Latour - Premier Cru
Amongst the first four to be honoured as a First Growth, Château Latour is positioned amongst the best in the world. The ancient vines of Château Latour have existed since the 14th century, yet it embraces the merits of technology and is the first to completely revolutionise its production with stainless steel vats. Latour's great vintages are famed for their longevity and consistency in excellence even in years of poor vineyard yields. These charmed qualities resulted from the dedication of its various visionary owners as well as from the gifts bestowed by the great master - a very privileged setting just a walk away from the Gironde river and the generous characteristics of the Medocain climate.

Château Ausone Château Ausone
Under the management of Alain Vauthier, the wines of Château Ausone have become one of the most cherished and sought after wines of Bordeaux. The wines of Château Ausone generally require cellaring for at least ten years to reach maturity and in their youth, these wines can be very tannic. As they age, the distinct flavours of currant, raspberry and black cherry begin to come forward, joined by hints of spice. Some of the library wines that are nearly a century old still possess charm and a touch of surprising youthfulness. The very best vineyards enjoy the status of Premiers Grands Crus Classs A and B and are re-evaluated every decade. Château Ausone produces on average 2,000 cases per year and is honoured as a "First Grand Cru Classé, A".

Château Cos d'Estournel Château Cos d'Estournel
The new owner of Château Cos d'Estournel has bestowed Jean-Guillaume Prats total control, to produce the best wine possible. Château Cos d'Estournel, acknowledged to be the most outstanding cru of St Estephe, is certainly the most spectacular edifice to grace the commune's vineyards. Just like its spectacular façade that is majestically cast in soft golden sandstone, Cos d'Estournel is the epitome of elegance and richness. In its youth, the wine of Cos d'Estournel impresses with an intense structure and the strength of its fruit. Slowly evolving to reach a wonderful melting quality and exuding a complex but desired aroma upon maturing. Great vintages of Cos d'Estournel have been known to possess a remarkably long life, sometimes exceeding a century old.
